Our experiment was testing red cabbage as a ph scale!

 

INVESTIGATION 1!

Acid+Bases

Investigate what happens when you add acids and bases into the juice from a red cabbage which is a natural ph scale

 

MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT!

1 tray

5containers

PH scale sheet

Wash up liquid

THE Materials WE TESTED TO SEE IF THEY WERE ACID OR BASE WERE:

Milk , lemon juice , water , salt , dish powder , bicarbonate of soda , sanitizer , vinegar

THE ACIDS IN THAT LIST WERE:

Lemon juice, Dish powder , bicarbonate of soda , sanitizer , vinegar

THE BASES ON THE LIST WAS: Milk

 

THE NEUTRALS ON THE LIST WERE: Salt and water

 

OVERALL IT WAS A REALLY FUN EXPERIMENT!
